It is All of These and So Much
More!
Our research indicates that lasting
change takes time, so your membership in the Forum is for one
year. Over the course of that year we will challenge your
beliefs about how organizations should be operated and your role
as an executive manager. We will also challenge your
concepts about leadership, employees, customers, and culture.
Our research revealed that the best organizations don't just do
things differently; they do different things. Over the
course of your one-year membership you will learn these
different things, and then be given opportunities to apply that
learning back on the job with your real team.
After all, that is what developing
leadership is all about; the impact that is created when leaders
unleash and focus the energy of their employees on the goals of
the organization. When employees are energized by their
leaders they end up doing exceptional things. This is what
sets the best organizations apart from the rest.
The following are the components of
the Executive Leadership Forum:
Workshops:
6 days of learning delivered in four sessions over the course of
one year. In these
sessions you will learn about what the research says about
creating a high performance organization, and how to increase
your own effectiveness as a leader.
These workshops are based on the soon to be released book
Rising Above Mediocrity: The Path to Performance.
We provide you with the information that will allow you to
become a better leader, and specific behaviors and course of
action that will allow you to put that knowledge to work to make
a difference for you, the team you lead, and your organization.
Professional Networking:
Breakfasts and lunches for all workshop days, and a welcome
reception are included in your fees, so you get plenty of time
to network with the other participants in your Forum.
Feedback:
You will receive personalized feedback based on a battery of
assessments that will help you to learn about yourself and give
you tools to improve as a leader.
Application:
“Now what?” Everything DiSC 363 for Leaders helps to answer that
question by giving leaders their next steps with the three
things they can focus on now—strategies to improve their
leadership effectiveness that can be put into action
immediately. You will also identify one or more Impact Goals™
that will significantly increase organizational performance and
develop a plan to achieve it.
After all, the goal of the Forum is to not just learn,
but get results for you and your organization.
Individual Coaching:
You will receive one face-to-face meeting with an executive
coach to debrief your personalized feedback and to set out a
plan to take action on this information and other items you wish
to accomplish. You
then receive two additional face-to-face meetings and 7 one-hour
phone calls, as well as e-mail support, to track your progress
and make adjustments as needed so that you will achieve your
goals.
Peer Support:
In addition to learning from the other participants, we
encourage participants to form peer support groups of 3 to 4
members to help encourage follow-through on actions decided upon
in workshops and coaching sessions.
The Impact Project:
As part of the program you will chose an Impact Goal™ that you
will work on over a period of 6 months with the people you lead
back at your organization.
This Impact Project is something that, when accomplished,
it will have a significant impact not just on your job; not just
on the team that you lead; but also on the performance of your
organization. This
is not a project that you work on all on your own, but, instead,
puts the leadership skills that you have been learning into
action. While the
impact doesn’t have to be immediate, it should be something that
can be realized within the next year.
At the end of the program you will prepare a report on your
project and you will share your project and learning with the
rest of the Forum.
So not only will you learn from your own project, but so won’t
everyone else, and you will learn from theirs, as well.
This project is the culmination of everything the Forum is
about; putting learning into action that has impact on
organizational performance!
One of our clients saved $1.6 million per year from their Impact
Project!
Personal Attention:
Each Forum is limited in the number of participants; we only
allow 20 participants per program.
We also provide a very low participant to
facilitator/Coach ratio, so you get learning in an intimate
setting and personal support from the
CPD
team. At each
workshop session you will have contact with the entire team and
can call on them for assistance at any time.
The entire team is also available via e-mail at any time
in the future to assist you with your learning, application
exercises, or Impact Project.
Registration will be opening soon

Everything DiSCŪ 363 for Leaders:
For many leaders, 360s can be a frustrating experience. At best,
open-ended comments can be unfocused and unhelpful. At worst,
they’re a way to anonymously take a jab at a colleague. And
ultimately, they can even derail the learning process.
Its no wonder why the research has so little good to say
about them, and why we have shunned them; until now.
We now utilize a revolutionary new process to give focused,
balanced, constructive feedback that you can actually use.
Our assessment isn’t a collection of dry spreadsheets and
charts without any explanation or story. Instead, it combines
clear visuals and a conversational narrative style to interpret
and explain the data, making the report easy to understand and
use.
